Here are shots of what will (in about 5 months) become the new SEER-Plex.
Starting with the view from the outside
The goal of the outside to is build a deck and have grass on the front, we will be constructing benches and what not, so in the warm weather SEER Peeps can work from outside on laptops, ipads, whatever they want.
Inside the main hall
Here is a view of the second floor, where the pews will (budget allowing) be retained, refinished, and upholstered.
Since our team will be working in the pit on the first floor, we will use this space for brainstorms, conference rooms, etc we are planning on making it a place to create, but also turn it into space that community groups can use (for just the cost of us to heat the place, and what not). We really want to make our love of helping non profits come to life here, allowing groups to have meetings here or small presentations.
We also plan on hosting events here for the tech community of Philadelphia, which we feel so strongly about. We are hoping to also allow tech groups to host meetups and events here as well.
The view from above
It doesn’t take a genius to see that this place is in serious disrepair, but this is likely going to be the view from our main conference room (today there are more pews here and seating).
